Human Resources - Minot or Williston, ND - HR Generalist
Help the largest state agency align HR programs and strategies with business objectives to serve team members and management as a HR Generalist for ND Health and Human Services.
As the HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting North Central Human Service Center and Northwest Human Service Center with various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. You will ensure HR polices are effectively implemented and collaborate with HR Business Partner and leadership to address employee concerns, manage day-to-day HR operations and support talent management strategies that align with agency goals.
To thrive in this position, you must have a solid understanding of HR practices, policies and regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build effective relationships across all levels and collaborate on process improvement. You should be proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in an ever-evolving environment, with the ability to focus on details while managing multiple tasks and competing deadlines.
To be considered for the HR Generalist position, you must have a bachelor's degree in a related field; or a high school diploma or equivalent and 4 years' experience in office coordination responsibilities that included human resources experience; or a combination of education and experience which demonstrates equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
