Examples of Work Performed
1. Responsible for direction and guidance for advancing the College’s strategic priorities;
2. Serves as chief officer for the College’s recruitment processes;
3. Provide executive-level leadership, strategic planning, oversight, and coordination of the Division of Enrollment Management in the areas of programming and policy development in the following area Admissions.
4. Lead the College’s efforts to enhance, assess, and maintain a comprehensive enrollment management plan for managing enrollments to capacity in alignment with the strategic academic plan of the College. Ensure that the operational objectives, policies and practices for enrollment management align with the strategic plan and goals of the College;
5. Oversee all institutional and system scholarship and waiver awards. Implement strategies to effectively leverage scholarships and waivers to enhance the College’s enrollment;
6. Promote collaboration with all units of the College, particularly Academic Affairs, to support student learning and student success. Build strategic partnerships with the faculty, and others, both on and off campus to facilitate institutional understanding that enrollment is a campus-wide responsibility;
7. Responsible for various College-wide committees including: Retention Steering Committee and Scholarship Committee;
8. Enhance, assess, and lead the implementation of a strategy and operational practices;
9. Develop and enhance the assessment of student learning outcomes for activities within the Division;
10. Promotes positive student relations by maintaining effective lines of communication with student leaders, serving as co-advisor for Student Senate, and serving as a strong advocate for the non-academic, extracurricular, and co-curricular needs of students;
11. Monitor institutional policies and practices to ensure compliance with relevant state and federal laws, NSCS regulations, and other state and federal mandates;
13. Serve on the Council for Marketing and Enrollment Officers and Student Affairs Marketing and Enrollment Committee for the NSCS and actively participates in all NSCS Board Meetings and initiatives;
14. Report on recruitment and marketing strategies and results, enrollment trends, and other key indicators to the President, President’s Cabinet, NSCS, the faculty and staff of the College, and other audiences;
15. Serve as an advocate for higher education in the community, state, region, and nation;
16. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- A Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, terminal degree preferred.
- A career of progressively responsible leadership, administration, budget and human resource management in higher education student affairs, enrollment management or related fields.
- A demonstrated commitment to student success, inclusion and building strong student experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. preferred.
