JOB SUMMARY AND SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The SBHC Program Manager ensures School-based Health Centers (SBHC) will operate within the guidelines set by Neighborcare management team and in accordance with laws and regulations. Supports School-based Health Program Manager lead team and clinical staff in developing, implementing and/or improving systems that affect and/or enhance clinic operations. Provides first line of support to all staff at all SBHC locations, including health center coordinators, medical, dental, and mental health providers. Coordinates and oversees daily clinical operations, schedules, and resources. Works in partnership and joint accountability with other team members to achieve Neighborcare’s Mission, Guiding Principles and Goals.

PRIMARY RESPONISBILITIES
Key responsibilities:
- Work with School-based Health Program Manager lead team to develop and maintain systems to ensure clinic productivity is met.
- Attend to the set-up, maintenance, and management of electronic health records systems, practice management systems, and administrative support systems.
- Lead, support, identify, and participate in clinical quality of care initiatives and process improvement activities as a member of the School-based Health Program Manager lead team.
- Work with lead team and staff to develop annual goals and objectives, address service failures, improve systems and operations, and report regularly on progress
- Collaborate with City of Seattle and Public Health on Program Managers, student advocacy and funding. Work with Development Department on funding strategies.
- Effectively and appropriately communicate throughout the SBHCs, PSNHC, Public Health and City of Seattle.
- Manage records systems and administrative support systems ensuring that information is complete, accurate and deadlines are met
- Manage SBHC Quality Improvement projects in collaboration with School-based Health Program Manager lead team members.
- Participate in Program Manager and organizational planning and work with School-based Health Program Manager lead team to plan for long term patient needs and resources. Act as internal resource to team.
- Assist in strategic planning, budget projections, productivity analysis, and other business related initiatives.
- Support with pharmacy orders, as well as other supplies that support clinical operations in collaboration with School-based Health Program Manager lead team.
- Support School-based Medical Director, Mental Health Clinical Manager, and Specialty Program Managers-Dental Manger in orienting clinical staff on clinic operations and functions.
- Identify and communicate issues effectively, resolve clinical and operational issues/concerns within the position’s scope; serve as the first line of support in triaging issues related to patient concerns brought forward by clinical staff; and engage School-based Health Program Manager lead team members as appropriate.
- Be the SBHC site point of contact for any concerns or needs for all clinical staff, including but not limited to HR and performance management, billing, logistics, and facility needs.
- Review and coordinate clinic schedules, arrange for coverage, review and approve timesheets.
- Act as School-based Health Program Manager lead team representative during SBHC site-level staff meetings. Support school relationships and meet with school level administration, as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships within the community and other service organizations
- Serve as primary contact for facilities related issues which include telephones, computers and building maintenance.
- Convene and facilitate staff meetings, as needed.

Required: Bachelor's degree in nursing, public health, healthcare administration, public administration, business, or a related field.

Compensation:
- The wage range for this position is a minimum annual salary of $79,892.80 up to a maximum of $110,334.00.
- Compensation will be determined based on years of relevant experience.
- The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, years of experience, location, qualifications, work schedule and other job-related reasons.
