Job Description:
Nemco Food Equipment is committed to the manufacturing and on-time delivery of parts and equipment to all operations using experienced material handlers who can operate a variety of tools and resources. In this job, you will work in a fast-paced production environment, using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and inventory software. After an initial training period, productivity and quality requirements must be met.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory. • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders. • Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies. • Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units. • Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock. • Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product. • Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.

Pass a forklift driving test (Nemco certification)
Ability to keep workspace clean and organized.
Relevant Work
Experience:
Experience as a material handler in a production environment preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Standing: Most tasks are performed in a standing position with
intermittent walking.
Lifting: Frequently lifting items weighing 5 lbs. to 10 lbs.;
occasionally lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Walking: Frequent walking short distances (less than 1/8 mile).
Carrying: Occasional carrying of bulky items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Pushing: Use of manual hand truck and carts to occasionally move
skids or parts short distances.
Pulling: Use of manual hand truck and carts to occasionally move

Bending: Occasional bending required to perform a variety of tasks.

· Monday- Thursday (5:00 am-3:30 pm; 10 hour shift) Subject to Change
