Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our Billing Office. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient office operations by assisting with administrative tasks, coordinating communication, and supporting the billing team with daily responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the billing department, including data entry, document preparation, and record-keeping.
- Direct correspondence to various departments in a professional manner.
- Process and file billing documents, invoices, and payment records.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with company policies.
- Support special projects and perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in medical billing or healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with billing software is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial and patient information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
