POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resource & Recruiting Coordinator assists in the efficient and smooth operational functioning of the Human Resources Department, specifically for the HR Operations team. This role works directly with HR Operations Team Members, Hiring Managers, Human Resources Business Partners, and external candidates to drive the background check and drug screen process for Nestle. This role cultivates strong partnerships internally and externally to protect the new hire experience. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Drug Screen & Background Check Process – 95%
- Support for up to 7 HR Operations Specialists at one time
- Initiate, coordinate, follow up, and execute the entire end-to-end drug screen and background check process for all new hires
- Provide ongoing communication with candidates, HR Operations, Human Resources Business Partners, Hiring Managers, and Recruiters throughout the entire drug screen and background check process
- Act as the liaison between the organization’s background check and drug screen provider, new hire candidates, and HR Operations
- Act as the liaison between the organization’s background check and drug screen provider, Talent Acquisition, and HR Operations to ensure proper candidate documentation is submitted to candidate files
Other – 5%
- Provide administrative assistance to HR Operations Team and perform other administrative duties as assigned
- Create, maintain, document, and update HR processes as needed
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Supervision given from HR Operations Manager. However, individual must be able to anticipate problems and move toward resolving them in the absence of management, exercising independent judgment and discretion. Will be required to communicate specific instructions or requests to various individuals/levels of the organization. Individual must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred
- 1 year corporate administrative assistant experience preferred
- 1 year of experience in Talent Acquisition preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet tight deadlines
- Experience maintaining and managing confidential information
- Experience working as part of a team to accomplish a shared objective
- Must have excellent communication skills (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Proactive problem solver, adaptable, flexible, and must have superior customer service skills
- Detail-oriented team player with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of SAP or SuccessFactors helpful as well as the ability to learn new computer programs.
