Purpose of Position
This position will plan, develop, and manage monthly and yearly crewmember schedules. They must ensure the crewmembers' training remains current and that all qualifications are maintained in a timely and effcient manner. They are responsible for planning, filling and communicating all initial training for new aircraft, bid awards and displacements.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Schedule Crewmembers for currency related training events. Associated duties include schedule modification, slot procurement, proper documentation, due month tracking, flight following, briefing and qualificaiton oversight
- Publish crewmember monthly operational schedules in compliance with the CBA. Communicate post publication schedule changes to all applicable parties. Process the schedule bid awards, review post IOE schedule options, vacation rescheduling options and QC daily and monthly crewmember schedules.
- Gather, interpret and respond to inquires initiated by crewmembers and other internal / external customers regarding scheduling policies, contractual requirements and / or other Crew Resource Planning questions.
- Create, load and order travel into Ijet2 timeline for crewmembers attending scheduled training events when Pilot Training Travel is unable to order the travel.
- Preside over duty code entries and comments as well as schedule type, fleet, and rank records within rostering. Administering leave of absence duty codes for LOA and return to work crewmembers.
- Communicate proper crewmember pay changes to payroll and other duties as assigned.
