Job Title: Network Security Architect

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: Long Term Contract

Description:

The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in a review of the design, implementation, and maintenance of network security measures and security technologies that protect our organization's infrastructure from cyber threats. This role requires strong technical expertise in network and architecture security, excellent leadership skills, and the

ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and an external vendor ensuring efforts supporting a network security assessment and tools rationalization continually achieve planned progress.
• Review and assess interim deliverables providing feedback on acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in receiving documentation necessary for assessment efforts.
• Facilitate vendor exploratory discussions/assessments across various internal teams and domains including InfoSec and Enterprise Technology.
• Present frequent status updates on the assessments progress to leadership and advise or escalate where applicable.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive experience in network security and security architecture, with a focus on designing and implementing security controls in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, architecture, and infrastructure components.
• Proficiency in using network security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDPS, VPNs and SIEM Solutions.
• Certifications Such as CISSP, CCSK, CCNP Security, CEH or Similar are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex network security issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
