Job Description

Nevada State University invites applications for the position of Peer Ambassador with TRIO Student Support Services. Peer Ambassadors serve, support and promote TRIO SSS student success and events. Peer Ambassadors play an important role in the program through support of their fellow students and sharing insights about how they successfully navigated the social and academic atmosphere of Nevada State University. Peer Ambassadors will assist with programming such as new student orientation, open house, workshops, social media and email communication, help facilitate the new student experience and communicate with assigned first year students throughout their first year.

Student employees can work up to 19.5 hours per week.

Hourly Rate : 14.00 per hour.
