Maintenance Worker

Job Summary: This position works closely with the Facilities Manager to maintain New Beginnings' properties. This position is part time - 24 hours per week (days are flexible).

Essential Job Functions:

• coordinates maintenance tasks with Facilities Manager.
• ensure properties are well maintained, sanitary and safe.
• completes monthly apartment/unit inspections.
• performs minor maintenance repairs, such as patching drywall, painting, safety repairs, yard maintenance, dump runs, and other such tasks.

Specifications and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of basic residential building maintenance. Ability to assess building

needs. Hand tool and small power tools experience.

• Driver's License and clean driving record required.
• Good problem solving skills, good judgment on safety issues.
• Ability to participate in strenuous activities such as mowing lawns, yard work,

moving heavy furniture and climb stairs.

Selected candidate would need to pass a background check.
