What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home-Based Behavioral Interventionist position at New Behavioral Network?
New Behavioral Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Interventionist or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide ABA therapy and assist with homeschooling and socialization for a child in a home-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized ABA therapy to address behavioral goals.
- Support with homeschooling activities, ensuring a fun and engaging learning environment.
- Facilitate socialization opportunities both inside and outside the home.
- Manage and address aggressive behaviors and elopement issues effectively and calmly.
Schedule:
- 30 hours per week: Primarily weekday daytime hours with some weekend availability.
- Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the child and family.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Behavior Interventionist or RBT (preferred but not required).
- Bachelors Degree Preferred.
- Familiarity with ABA principles and techniques.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- Experience working with children displaying aggressive behaviors or elopement tendencies is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
