Accounts Payable Supervisor
Job Summary: This is a working supervisor position that is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the accounts payable team and processing activities.
Essential Duties:
- Work with the Accounting Manager to develop, implement and manage policies, procedures and systems related to the accounts payable processes
- Supervise & backup AP team. Train, mentor, and assist with team development; assist with hiring, performance management, and terminations; work with Accounting Manager to maintain and approve work schedules
- Review of invoices and statements for inaccuracies, obtain appropriate approval, review payment terms, match with correct General Ledger codes
- Ensure timely follow-up on invoicing issues and long outstanding check payments
- Review scheduled outgoing payments (checks & ACH)
- Provides various reporting to managers
- Setup of new vendors in D365, and maintenance of existing vendor account information
- Assists in performing month-end closing activities
- Reviews various general ledger accounts for accuracy and proactively researches discrepancies and aging items
- Prepares annual 1099’s
- Other duties as assigned
Education/ Experience/Skills:
- Requires 2 years of related accounts payable/receivable experience; 1 year of supervisory experience a plus, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Intermediate level knowledge of accounts payable and receivable invoicing principles and procedures
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software and web based expense programs.
- Basic understanding and working knowledge of cash management
- Intermediate skills in Excel, Outlook, and Word
Percent of Travel: 0-10%

Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.
Starting Salary Range: $24.00 - 29.00/hour
