Technology Support Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY
Working under the supervision of the Manager of Technical Services, the
Technology Support Specialist will assist with daily office workflow within the New Canaan Public Schools Technology Department performing a variety of administrative and support responsibilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assigns technology related help desk tickets to various department staff
2. Answers help desk phone calls and assigns relative workflow
3. Track and complete timesheets for all department members
4. Coordinate and track clerical aspects of department purchases and deliveries
5. Organize department calendars and meeting events
6. Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of technology inventory systems and maintenance
7. Perform basic user account maintenance in various systems
8. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface cooperatively with various
staff and faculty
3. Interested in and has a basic understanding of computer systems and other technologies
4. Basic understanding of Help Desk Ticketing Systems
5. Proficient with MS Office & Google Apps (Drive, Email, and Calendar)
