WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
The Sales Customer Management (SCM) department is responsible for accelerating the identification and collection of invoice payment monies withheld by customers of Bolthouse Fresh Foods for improper or unsubstantiated reasons. This position ensures the company is paid fully for all conforming products shipped and in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to both external and internal customers
- Contact customers concerning short-paid invoices and unidentified deductions
- Collaborate with members of the Accounts Receivable team, Sales and other internal departments on invoicing issue resolution, as well as customer Buyers and Accounts Payable departments (as needed)
- Analyze payment trends and report to the Sales Customer Management Sr Manager. and Accounts Receivable department
- Update the Sales Customer Management Sr. Manager. and Accounts Receivable department on accounts where the company may be at risk
- Research and understand customer contract documents and incorporate that information into work product
- Coordinate the identification and tracking of positive and negative trends in short-pay volume with the Sales Customer Management Sr. Manager., and proactively report discrepancies and potential risks to Sales Customer Management, Sales and the Accounts Receivable department
- Provide short payment summaries, invoice copies, and any backup or related documentation as requested
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Maintain financial security by adhering to internal accounting controls
- Additional duties may include but not be limited to these additional Customer Sales Management activities:
- Processing documents for electronic signature via DocuSign
- Participate in the drafting of Sales Agreements
- Entering OS&Ds (Over/Short/Damage incident reports)
- Protect organization's value by keeping confidential information
- Must be able to travel occasionally to attend meetings and conferences.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be comfortable coordinating communications among multiple management-level individuals
- Ability to competently lead meetings in person and over Zoom with high-level participants.
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Ability to work independently and must be detail oriented
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.

- Must be a competent user of Microsoft Excel
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of one to three years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum two years previous experience in sales and/or sensitive collections, claims and deductions
- Knowledge of customer segmentation and sales forecasting
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment with frequent interruptions.
- Ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, climb, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
- Lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight up to 25 lbs.
- Operate office equipment requires repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time in an upright position walking on both even and uneven surfaces
- Ability to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, using 3-point contact on a regular basis
- Ability to stoop, crouch, and kneel on a regular basis
HOURS & WORKDAYS:
1st Shift – 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM; Monday through Friday. Weekends, holiday, and overtime when business requires overtime and weekends will be mandatory.
