New Focus Academy is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Director to lead the daily operations of our residential treatment program. The Operations Director will play a crucial role in driving organizational goals, ensuring the highest standards of care, and enhancing the quality of life for our residents. This leadership position requires a strong understanding of operational management, behavioral health, and program development, as well as a commitment to the specialized needs of children and young adults diagnosed with autism and associated diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management:
- Oversee aspects of New Focus Academy’s residential treatment program, including staffing, facility management, compliance, and service delivery.
- Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, licensing, and accreditation standards.
- Develop, implement, and continuously monitor policies and procedures that promote efficient and effective operational practices within the academy.
- Staff Management and Leadership:
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate a diverse team of professionals.
- Cultivate a collaborative, inclusive, and positive work culture that encourages professional development, teamwork, and high staff morale.
- Provide regular supervision and mentorship to staff, facilitating ongoing training and professional growth opportunities.
- Crisis Management and Problem Solving:
- Develop, implement, and follow crisis intervention protocols, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and staff.
- Proactively address operational challenges with a solution-focused approach, resolving issues effectively.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Relevant degrees in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Relevant clinical licenses (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT) appreciated.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in operations management, preferably within a residential treatment or educational setting focused on behavioral health, with specific experience working with children and young adults on the autism spectrum.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage diverse teams, fostering a collaborative and effective work environment demonstrated by strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge Base: Comprehensive understanding of autism and associated diagnoses, therapeutic interventions, educational methodologies, and program development strategies.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with applicable licensing, accreditation, and regulatory requirements within residential treatment or educational settings.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities, able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Certifications: CPR, First Aid, and Safe Crisis Management certifications are desirable.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $89,000.00 per year
