Job Title: Junior High Ministry Coordinator
Department: New Life Friday Night
Reports to: Family Ministries Pastor
Status: Part-Time | Hourly
Schedule: Tues – Fri | 5 hours

Job Summary |
To co-labor with parents in leading 7th and 8th grade students to Jesus, equipping them to live for God, and preparing them to be witnesses both here and around the world.
Duties and Responsibilities |
- Set up and tear down junior high classroom
- Check students in and out of class
- Teach curriculum and facilitate small groups during class
- Maintain order in a loving, caring, peaceful environment
- Keep room clean and orderly throughout class time
- Coordinate weekly junior high volunteer schedule in CCB
- Manage Friday Night junior high team communication via email
- Oversee junior high volunteer recruitment and leadership
- Hold training meetings for volunteer team
- Follow policy and procedure and standard classroom procedure
- Attend all required team meetings
- Help with Kids Camp
- Be on time for your designated shift on Friday nights
- Help lead pre-service team meetings and help in staff orientation, development and trainings
- Coordinate with New Life North Junior High Pastor to ensure alignment cross-congregationally
- Demonstrate ongoing financial support of the ministry and mission of New Life Church
- Work in close association with the entire staff to build and maintain a strong team environment and complete the work necessary to fully serve and support the ministries of New Life Church
- Maintain close relationship with New Life North Staff for additional training support
- Help lead and facilitate junior high discipleship on Tuesdays
- Occasionally go to Student Ministries on Wednesday nights to build relationship with kids and support the Student Ministries Staff
- Other duties as assigned

- Cooperate with Director and Friday Night pastors to perform any other duties when asked to do so.
Education and Experience |
Education: High School Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience: 1-2 years of related experience
Working Conditions and Requirements of Office Environment |
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to sit and occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally life and or move up to 25 pounds.
- Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Close visual acuity to is necessary to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
