We are seeking an Academic Support Specialist to join our team and assist students in developing their critical thinking and problem-solving skills through participation in a mathematics competition program. About the Role
You will be responsible for providing guidance and support to registered students, helping them prepare for the late-April competition. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting students with fact drills and individual competitions
- Providing direction and guidance to students
- Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
Requirements include a love for numbers and mathematics, ability to manage a group of children, patience, flexibility, and great communication skills.
Time Commitment: Up to 15 hours per month, plus one day for the competition
