Job Summary
New View Windows and Doors is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window and Door Field Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for onsite product adjustment, part and glass replacements, inspections, measurements, installations, and quality control of window and door projects. The Field Specialist will work directly with customers, contractors, and the installation team to ensure seamless experience and high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Measurements & Assessments
- Conduct accurate onsite measurements of window and door openings to ensure proper fit and function.
- Assess site conditions to determine installation requirements and address potential challenges.
- Install and replace windows and doors according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Perform repairs on damaged or malfunctioning windows and doors, including hardware replacements, adjustments, and sealing.
Site Preparation & Cleanup
- Prepare job sites by measuring, marking, and prepping openings to ensure a proper fit.
- Safely remove old windows and doors without causing damage to surrounding structures.
- Ensure job sites are clean and debris-free after each project.
Customer Interaction
- Serve as the on-site representative of New View Windows and Doors, providing exceptional customer service.
- Communicate with customers to explain the installation process, timelines, and address any questions or concerns.
- Communicate with customers to explain installation or repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips.
- Address customer concerns and ensure satisfaction with completed work
Installation & Quality Control
- Assist with or oversee the installation of windows and doors, ensuring compliance with company standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Perform final inspections to verify proper operation, alignment, and finish.
- Address and resolve any installation issues on-site to meet customer satisfaction.
- Inspect completed installations and repairs to ensure proper alignment, operation, and aesthetic appeal.
- Identify and resolve any issues to meet company quality standards.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the sales, service, and installation teams to coordinate project timelines and resources.
- Provide feedback to the operations team regarding job progress, challenges, or additional requirements.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of measurements, site conditions, and installation details.
- Submit detailed reports and photos for each project to ensure proper documentation.
Safety Compliance
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure job sites are safe for workers and customers.
- Properly handle tools, equipment, and materials to prevent accidents or damage.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site.

Qualifications
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent (required). Trade certifications or technical training in construction or carpentry (preferred).
Experience
- 2 years of experience in windows and doors installation, field measurements, or a related field.
- Familiarity with high-end window and door products is a strong advantage.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and installation techniques for windows and doors.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturer specifications.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with tools and equipment used for measuring, adjusting, installing, and repairing windows and doors.
