JOB SUMMARY

A Junior Asset Manager, works under general supervision and is responsible for managing and monitoring a portfolio of less complex loans of various types including; performing loans which are considered *High Profile* - $50 million or greater, participation loans, loans that display credit weakness and other loan credit issues requiring special attention. The Junior Asset Manager is responsible for investigating why performing real estate loans are not achieving the expected debt service coverage ratio


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Under supervision, reviews and completes individual CRE scorecards based on financial analyses completed by the I&E Dept. Actively monitors the financial performance of all assigned loans within the Credit Management portfolio inclusive of loans over $50MM, designated *High Profile* loans, Watch List loans, and criticized and classified loans. Assists with performing enhanced analysis and monitoring of loans whose DSCR is less than 1.0x as determined by the most recent financial analysis performed by the I&E Dept. Performs semi-annual reviews of assigned Pass 6W loans monitoring performance and grading the loan appropriately. Develops Top Twenty Borrower Relationship Reports (*T-20*) on an annual basis in addition to developing and maintaining relationships with the large borrowers and the assigned Loan Officer. Reviews and interprets cash flow and operating financial statements of the borrower and/or the guarantor(s) and monitor the financial performance of loans assigned. Reviews and executes SNDA's, Transfers of Interest, Collateral and Guaranty Releases. Interacts with borrowers, agents, and attorneys on an on-going basis and keep account officers within the bank informed about borrower/loan performance and issues at hand. Interacts with ILR, Originations and I&E on any issues deemed to be a credit risk function. Actively participates in department training and guidance from experienced Asset Managers to develop knowledge and expertise. Additional functions may include: Serving as the *point person* for Criticized Classified loan monitoring. Reviewing and preparing semi-annual HPD report for committee. Preparing Global Cash Flows for Top 20. Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required. Where applicable and when performing the responsibilities of the job, employees are accountable to maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and adhere to internal control policies and procedures. Requirements:


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting. Lending, Asset Management, and/or workout experience in C&I, MF, and CRE a plus. Credit Training preferred.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of credit risk, lending, and asset management concepts. Knowledge of regulatory laws and regulations related C&I MF & CRE lending. Strong negotiation skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Detail oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Computer literate with intermediate proficiency in internet navigation, word processing and spreadsheet applications. Ability to travel occasionally, as needed. Ability to multitask.
