We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Part-Time Talent Acquisition Associate (25 hours/week; M-F, 9am-2pm with some flexibility) to join our collaborative and high-energy Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the future of our organization by helping us find top talent while bringing creativity, efficiency, and a positive attitude to the team. Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team, contributing ideas and supporting various recruitment initiatives.
- Post job openings on internal and external job boards, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Support recruitment efforts as needed for a variety of part-time and full-time roles.
- Review and shortlist resumes to identify top candidates for various roles.
- Set up video and on-site interviews, managing logistics and ensuring a smooth process for candidates and managers.
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) to ensure accurate candidate records.
- Utilize LinkedIn and other tools to identify and engage potential candidates, conducting exploratory calls to assess fit.
- Play a significant role in our intern recruitment process, from sourcing to hiring.
- Support employer branding efforts, including assisting with career fair preparations or social media outreach initiatives.
- Track recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to the Talent Acquisition team.
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in human resources or talent acquisition; LinkedIn sourcing experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Workday ATS strongly preferred.
- Experience working in a media organization a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to maintain clear and timely communication with candidates and team members.
- Familiarity with Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides).
- A knack for staying organized and managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset and a can-do attitude, even when juggling multiple responsibilities.
- Bring fresh ideas and approaches to the recruitment process to enhance the candidate experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with candidates and internal teams.
Hourly Rate: $30/hr - $40/hr, depending on experience
Note: This role will report on-site to our Midtown location approximately one day per week.
