As Nurse Practitioner Family Health, you will provide primary health care including:
Candidates from outside or within State Service may be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement - Statewide (NY HELPS) program as a Nurse Practitioner Family Health if they have certification and current registration as a Nurse Practitioner in the Family Health specialty practice area by the New York State Education Department.
OR
Candidates from within State Service can be considered for a competitive class appointment if they have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

- Diagnosing and treating health conditions.
- Establishing individual goals and treatment objectives in conjunction with treatment team.
- Prescribing medications and treatments, monitoring impact, and modifying as needed.
- Maintaining medical records and documentation.
Candidates from outside or within State Service may be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement - Statewide (NY HELPS) program as a Nurse Practitioner Family Health if they have certification and current registration as a Nurse Practitioner in the Family Health specialty practice area by the New York State Education Department.

Salary : $155,297 - $155,927
