Job Description : Duties DescriptionAre you interested in starting your career as a Family Health Nurse Practitioner with New York State? Kingsboro Psychiatric Center is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner Family Health to provide patient-centered primary health care to individuals with mental illness. Candidates from outside or within State Service can apply.As Nurse Practitioner Family Health, you will provide primary health care including : Conducting physical examinations. Diagnosing and treating health conditions. Establishing individual goals and treatment objectives in conjunction with treatment team. Prescribing medications and treatments, monitoring impact, and modifying as needed. Maintaining medical records and documentation. The posted job rate is the sum of the statutory job rate ($155,297), location pay ($3,400) Geographic Pay Differential ($40,000).NOTE : In order to be eligible for appointment and to maintain employment, you cannot be listed as an excluded individual or entity on any of the Federal and / or State Medicaid and Medicare exclusion lists (or excluded from any other Federal or Federally assisted program). If you are appointed and subsequently listed as an excluded individual or entity on any of these lists (or excluded from any other Federal or federally assisted program), you may be terminated from your employment.
