Do you have a passion for working with at-risk youth? Are you ready to hit the road and make a direct impact on homelessness in rural Wisconsin? Newcap, Inc. is hiring a Youth Outreach Coach to drive real change- literally and figuratively!
What You’ll Do
- Lead mobile outreach efforts by driving a 40-ft RV to rural areas, bringing services to youth where they are.
- Provide housing services, street outreach, advocacy, Coordinated Entry, and intake processing.
- Build relationships through community outreach events to identify and support youth in crisis.
- Collaborate with specialists, coaches, and directors to deliver top-tier client support.
- Assist clients in finding stable housing, securing benefits, and accessing vital resources such a shelter and financial assistance.
- Empower youth with job readiness skills, from resume building to interview coaching.
- Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in databases while participating in case conferencing.
What You Bring
Required
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel frequently throughout northeast WI.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and adapt in dynamic environments.
Preferred
- Background in social work, education, or outreach.
- Experience with vulnerable populations, crisis intervention, or case management.
- Familiarity with housing services, Coordinated Entry, or advocacy work.
