Marketing Supervisor

Planning and organizing marketing efforts to help grow our business and brandSupervising the marketing team's collaboration with project owners to create marketing and sales messagesRecognizing growing markets and market changes to stay on top of the competitionManaging projects and overseeing the implementation of everyday tasks, such as the organization and assessment of marketing campaignsParticipating in recruiting marketing team members, setting marketing and sales strategic goals, training and supervision of marketing and sales representativesGenerate sustainable and manageable workload and organize tasks to align diverse marketing efforts and activities with the company objectivesDevelops exceptional working relationships with Team Members and maintains effective communication with all departments to secure and maintain their cooperation.Participates in the coordination and delivery of property promotions; assists with special events and tournaments.Fully understands Turfway Park Rewards program and able to answer questions and inform guests of its benefits and rewards quickly and accurately.Personally develops and maintains excellent relationships with VIP players while creating a differentiated service experience.Achieves desired results in all areas of responsibility through staff development and training, established methods, procedures, and guidelines to maintain desired standards, and high quality service. Monitors results through inspection, evaluation, and analysis.Accountability for all Marketing Team Members for day to day and long term operations to include hiring and developing team members including coaching, mentoring and appropriate performance management.Follows and enforces all regulatory, internal controls and department policies, i.e., dress code, customer relations, procedures, etc.Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.EDUCATION And / or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business, or a related field3 years of experience in coordinating projects and people in Marketing or SalesExperience in working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions is preferableStrong understanding of business and industryOutstanding people management, communication, training, computer, and technical skillsDemonstrated ability to manage marketing processes from start to finishCapability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment with diverse stakeholdersAbility to attend virtual and occasional physical events, including webinars, trade shows, and fairsQualifications

Good oral and written communication skills including tact when dealing with difficult customers, must be fluent and literate in English.Must possess excellent employee relation skills (team building) and supervisory skills.Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational ability.Must be proficient in Excel and Word.Knowledge of player tracking systems.Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.Must be able to work flexible hours.Responsible for ensuring optimal operations and consistent high quality standards in every aspect of the position.Must be able to manage multiple objectives and tasks simultaneously and frequently reset priorities.Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests and vendors.Ability to stand and walk, and mobility to move easily around entire property for entire shift. Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 20 lbs.Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.Work Environment

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.Must be able to work in areas containing dust, second hand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibration, crowds and air quality.Must be flexible with schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Will be subject to call 24 hours in case of emergency or facility need.
