Vacancy: Counseling Office - Administrative Assistant
Salary: Per Contract
Hours: 35 hours per week/42 weeks per year (Additional summer hours required)
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous office, administrative experience (preferred)
- Be knowledgeable of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment
- Possess a high level of proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office, Google
- Be familiar with office protocols and terminology within a school setting
- Have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrates patience, flexibility,
- Have effective management and organizational skills
- Demonstrate excellent typing and computer skills
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Maintain the calendars of the school counselors
- Share frequent communications with staff, students, and families
- Schedule meetings between school staff and families
- Build and maintain the master schedule for the school
- Work alongside building administration to build schedules for certified and
- Run student schedules at the recommendation of the school counselors
- Create monthly data reports for building administration (Enrollment,
- Be proficient with completing additional tasks as assigned by the building
principal
Responsibilities: The administrative assistant will be assigned to the counseling office at Reed Intermediate
School. This individual will work directly with the Principal, the Executive Administrative
Assistant to the Principal and School Counselors.
