POSITION TITLE: Student Coordinator - Summer Academic Enrichment Program
LOCATION: Reed Intermediate Summer School
START DATE: June 30, 2025
SALARY RANGE: $25/Hourly
Qualifications:
- Must have completed the equivalent of 2 years of study or more at an accredited institution of higher education
- Familiarity with the Second Step program desired.
- Ability to assist students in social-emotional skill building, with little-to-no guidance.
- Strong, verbal and written, communication skills.
- Ability to provide a nurturing and calm environment for students.
- Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills required.
- High regard for confidentiality.
- Ability to follow directions and to be flexible.
- Commitment to contributing to a positive culture for students and other staff.
Responsibilities:
- Identify social-emotional needs in students needing support, under the direction of the summer support staff.
- Influence positive development of social-emotional skills.
- Assist students in the transition of the summer school program, and from the summer school program to the
- Assist with dismissal of the summer school program, under the direction of the Program Administrator and or
- Produce a written, daily log of interaction with students for daily submission to the program Administrator.
- Commitment to the following schedule: June 30, 2025 through July 25, 2025 (Monday – Thursday). Planned time
- Hours for the Student Coordinator are 7:45 a.m. to 12:30/1:30 p.m., during the above referenced dates.
- Attend a mandatory, staff planning, meeting on June 24, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. You are compensated for
- Maintain the districts expected code of conduct and ethics.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for all students.
- Other activities as assigned by the Program Administrator and or Director of Continuing Education.
