Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Analyst – Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy
In this role, the Lead Analyst will oversee and perform data collection, manage various internal databases, and ensure the accuracy and quality compliance with CIBMTR (Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research) standards and timelines. They will be responsible for building databases and supervising the conversion of data into the appropriate file formats for statistical analysis and for the regular production of reports for the program, departments, divisions, and other relevant stakeholders. Additionally, they will lead efforts to interface with other databases (such as Information Systems, departmental/divisional databases, and related systems) in relation to QAPI data. As a senior team member, this person will provide guidance and support to other team members.
In addition, they will utilize tools such as SQL, Python to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various data sources into data warehouses. This individual will develop visualizations such as charts, graphs, maps, and dashboards to present data in a clear and concise manner. This role will develop and implement data models and algorithms to improve data quality and usability.
This position is based out of our corporate office in Midtown Manhattan with possible travel to any of our NYP sites and will be full-time Monday to Friday. Hybrid Schedule includes 4 days in office and 1 day remote.
Preferred Criteria
- Clinical licensure (RN, PA, PharmD)
- Masters degree in Public Health
- Proficiency in SQL, SAS, or Python
- Background in clinical data abstraction and experience with Red Cap
- Experience working collaboratively across multi-functional teams
Required Criteria
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of related experience in quality or data analysis
- Excellent computer skills
- Demonstrates excellent writing and communication skills
- Exhibits strong research and analytical skills including collecting, analyzing and summarizing data into identifiable trends
