Jobe Summary
The A/P and A/R Specialist will report to the Senior Operations Accounting Manager and will be responsible for day-to-day Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and general accounting tasks, as well as some office duties. We are looking for a motivated individual who is interested in helping us grow our department, while growing their own career simultaneously.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and other office equipment.

The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Essential Functions
- Enter and review AR invoices in Workday
- Generate customer invoices
- Monitor AR and AP email related inquiries
- Deposit and apply checks and ACH payments in Workday, reconcile as needed
- Prepare and distribute reports as needed to customers and colleagues
- Process credit card transactions
- Assist in month end process
- Process AP thru Optical Character Recognition (OCR) processing
- Prepare and send out weekly payments including checks and ACH
- Review AP statements
- Assist our field employees with inquires
- Must be proficient in verbal and written communication
- Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
- Must possess general working knowledge of and be comfortable with computer and software technology
- Driven self-starter possessing critical thinking, problem-solving skills along with an appreciation for detail
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Must be organized and detail orientated
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or experience equivalent
- Minimum 2 years accounting experience is strongly preferred
