What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Next Day Plus?
The Client Services department is the heart of the company and has the most interactions with not only customers, but the entire company. This position will be the primary point person for reception and support the remaining reps in the department with order processing and customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Support
• Greet and assist incoming customers and vendors for meetings.
• Primary point person to answer inbound phone calls to assist customers in orders, questions, problems, and returns.
• Monitor company voicemail and distribute messages accordingly.
• Assist customers in tracking their orders when needed.
• Mail invoices Order Processing
• Check order confirmations from suppliers against previous day sales orders and purchase orders.
• Manage to all the back orders for the company and keep clear communication with the customer and sales reps.
• Process sales orders for stock and drop ship items.
• Process purchase orders through multiple suppliers.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Some college coursework preferred
• Reception, Customer Service, and/or Order Processing experience preferred.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Ability to work in teams and independently • Self motivated and self disciplined
• SAP Business One software experience preferred, but not mandatory
