Position Summary
The Field Performance Advisor (FPA) is responsible for driving optimal performance and continuous improvement among our suppliers. This is accomplished through regular site visits, consulting directly with suppliers to correct real-time discrepancies and identify ways to improve crew effectiveness, tool utilization, and quality. The FPA leverages expertise to develop process improvements that can be scaled across sites and markets nationwide.
This role represents Ericsson in close collaboration with suppliers, providing performance feedback, recommendations, and partnering with internal support teams to implement more efficient, standardized workflows.
Job Responsibilities
- Review and analyze site performance metrics, including but not limited to cycle time, close-out package (COP) accuracy, Job Hazard Assessment (JHA) compliance, Ericsson tool utilization, build quality, and customer-specific requirements.
- Identify supplier performance gaps and partner with suppliers to implement improvements based on site reviews.
- Conduct on-site root-cause analysis of performance deficiencies and ensure real-time correction of safety and construction issues.
- Strategically plan daily and weekly site visits to meet targets and improve market performance based on KPIs and supplier needs.
- Collaborate with Ericsson’s Senior Construction Managers and Project Management teams to support field-level project requests (e.g., site access, customer meetings, construction drawing validation).
- Design and develop supplier process improvements and collaborate with Automation teams to enhance Ericsson tools and efficiency.
- Identify systemic issues across markets and work with other FPAs to implement cross-market improvements.
- Collect and report supplier performance data to support trials and business cases for process enhancements.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure supplier compliance with Ericsson and customer standards, methods, and tools.
- Provide feedback on Ericsson and customer-specific training and ensure accurate data delivery via Site Tracker and Power BI metrics.
- Support quarterly business reviews (QBRs) by reporting on supplier field performance and driving follow-up actions.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant work/industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience providing design solutions and guiding order of operations.
- Strong understanding of general construction processes and procedures.
- Experience managing contractor suppliers and construction scope estimation (Civils, Ground, L&A, Backhaul, Maintenance).
- Familiarity with Ericsson and customer quality/construction standards.
- Ability to interact with customers, property owners, and cross-functional teams.
- Solid grasp of contracts (leasing, vendor-facing, customer-facing) and financial concepts.
- Demonstrated collaboration and supplier relationship skills.
- Leadership experience, with proven ability to influence performance.
- Strong knowledge of applicable health and safety regulations.
- OSHA 30-hour certification (telecommunications industry).
- Experience with Ericsson equipment portfolio is a plus.
