Construction Project Manager : - Miami, FL
We are seeking a highly skilled and detailed orientated Construction Project Manager to oversee full renovations to cosmetic enhancements of single-family homes in South Florida. This role requires extensive construction project management experience as well as a background in architecture, design, engineering, or construction.
Notes :
This role will be hired as a 1099 consultant (employee must have their own LLC or Corporation). This position is expected to work from our Miami office with frequent travel to properties in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale area. Responsibilities :
- Manage full renovation and cosmetic improvement projects for single-family homes, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Interpret and analyze architectural plans, ensuring designs align with project goals and feasibility.
- Develop and track project budgets, monitor expenses, and manage cost estimates using Microsoft Excel.
- Create detailed project schedules and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain project timelines.
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality workmanship.
- Ensure projects meet building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and resolve issues as needed.
- Quickly identify challenges and develop strategic solutions to keep projects on track.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
