Key Accountabilities
- Ensure IT strategy and initiatives align with company-wide business goals
- Develop and manage the IT budget, collaborating with the CFO, COO, and Department Heads
- Establish and enforce IT policies, including cybersecurity, system management, and employee technology use
- Oversee contract negotiations with IT vendors to optimize cost and service
- Communicate IT costs, value, risks, and performance to management through KPI dashboards
- Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans
- Ensure compliance with client IT security requirements and industry regulations
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in technology systems
- Lead and manage IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance
- Optimize information systems and applications, including licensing, versioning, and system administration
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect company and client data
- Support engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, Bentley Systems, Primavera P6) and ensure seamless integration across project management tools
- Provide IT support for remote teams, mobile users, and field engineers
- Oversee IT support services, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues
- Develop employee training programs to enhance adoption and effective use of IT systems
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies to improve workflow efficiency, productivity, and profitability
- Improve IT automation and integration to streamline processes and enhance cross-departmental collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5 years of leadership and management experience in a professional services industry
- 10 years managing IT in a professional services or engineering-focused environment
- Experience managing engineering software and supporting project-based work
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong strategic planning and problem-solving abilities
- Cybersecurity expertise, including risk management and incident response
- Excellent communication skills for executive reporting and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to lead vendor negotiations and contract management
- Customer service mindset to ensure IT delivers value across the organization
