Nichols Contracting Inc is seeking a Payroll Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of experience. This individual will support key payroll related initiatives to include payroll processing in SAGE 300.
Requirements :
- Minimum 3 years of Payroll experience
- Multi-state processing
- Handling payroll for 200 employees
- Strong attention to detail
- Oversee end-to-end processing of weekly and bi-weekly payroll
- Serve as a liaison to answer timekeeping and payroll related questions, implement enhancements, and resolve any issues.
- Recommend process and customer service improvements, innovative solutions, and policy changes that will reduce turnaround time.
- Must have excellent people skills, strong communication, and the drive to problem solve and create a great employee experience.
- SAGE 300 and construction experience highly preferred.
- Ad hoc projects as needed related to payroll and accounting
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Pay range 55K-75K
