Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and reliable Barback to support our bartending team at Nikki Beach Miami Beach. As a barback, you'll play a key role in maintaining a smooth and efficient bar operation by ensuring the bartenders have everything they need to provide exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of barback experience, be able to work quickly under pressure, and have a passion for delivering top-notch service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock and replenish the bar with necessary supplies (alcohol, mixers, garnishes,
glassware, etc.) to keep the bartenders fully prepared.
- Clean and organize the bar area, including glassware and bar tools, to maintain a clean
and efficient workspace.
- Assist bartenders with setting up, breaking down, and cleaning the bar throughout the
shift.
- Help keep the bar area tidy and properly stocked, ensuring minimal interruptions to
service.
- Handle ice, liquor, garnishes, and other supplies as needed.
- Keep an eye on the guests to ensure their needs are met quickly and efficiently.
- Assist with taking out trash, cleaning spills, and maintaining a safe and hygienic
environment.
- Assist bartenders in running drinks, refilling glassware, and performing other tasks to
ensure a smooth operation.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and local alcohol laws.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a barback or in a similar fast-paced bar
environment.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently, even under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift) and lift heavy items when
necessary.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the team.
