Position Overview:
We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, and organized Host/Hostess to join our team at Nikki Beach Miami Beach. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and ensuring the smooth flow of guests into the venue. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and is passionate about providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor as they arrive at Nikki
Beach.
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to maximize efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the entrance and waiting areas.
- Assist guests with any special requests or inquiries, ensuring a seamless and
personalized experience.
- Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and other staff to ensure timely seating and guest service.
- Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and escalate to management when needed.
- Uphold safety and health standards by ensuring the venue remains clean and orderly.
- Provide guests with information about the venue, menu, and daily specials, as well as
local recommendations.
- Keep track of guest wait times and ensure proper communication with the team
regarding table readiness.
- Assist with the overall operations of the venue, including setting up and breaking down seating areas as needed.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer-facing role, preferably in a
high-volume or upscale hospitality setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests in a positive and
professional manner.
- Ability to multitask and manage high volumes of guests efficiently.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of the Nikki Beach brand, local area, and restaurant/hospitality industry is a nplus.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
