What are the responsibilities and job description for the E-Commerce & Sales Operations Specialist position at Nikon?
Overall responsibility of this position is to be an integral support role in the e-Commerce and Sales Operations Departments. The position will be supporting the Sales and e-Commerce Operations team on all fronts and providing both strategic and tactical functionality. The position will be responsible for standard operating procedures relating to e-commerce and sales operations processes and special projects with an awareness of other departments’ roles within Nikon Inc. Provide comparative analysis reports of current inventory with being mindful of sell-through trends. Research and evaluate current nationwide conditions that may affect the ability to sell products in the marketplace. The position will require you to work in multiple systems and collaborate with management as well as other departments. Keep management apprised on ongoing projects and activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
· Responsible for executing all assigned tasks for new product set up and price lists
· Key member on eCommerce team focused on optimizing customer experience to drive digital conversion
· Managing special purchase programs and release EDI orders while effectively managing the work overflow
· Provide valued assistance in maintaining inventory management and planning
· Responsibility for maintaining online product pricing & plans ensuring that price changes are implemented in an accurate & timely manner
· Provide an in-depth analysis on refurbish pricing
· Responsible for the creation of routine and requested sales reports (ie. Daily e-comm Sales Report) and for sharing this information with all appropriate or directed parties
· Collaborating with management on sales promotions and administering promotions in applicable systems.
· Responsible for chargeback management and creating PO Requisitions / coding invoices
· Responsible for providing the utmost customer service and resolving order issues in a timely manner
· Provide assistance in handling NPS Reward emails
· Work outside of normal hours of operation, as needed, in order to fulfill essential functions and responsibilities.
Ancillary responsibilities:

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
· 4 years of e-Commerce / sales operations experience
· High School Diploma or equivalent required
· B.A. preferred
