Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records by managing debits and credits across various accounts.
- Process payroll in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and following up on outstanding payments.
- Conduct account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare journal entries to record all transactions in the general ledger.
- Generate balance sheet reconciliations to maintain accurate financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and provide insights into financial performance.
- Collaborate with external accountants during audits or tax preparation as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including debits, credits, and journal entries.
- Proficiency in payroll processing and related regulations.
- Experience with bank reconciliation processes and accounts receivable management.
- Familiarity with financial concepts such as balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation.
