We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Greenville and Spartanburg, SC.
Job Overview:
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of site development projects across various sectors, including commercial, residential, and industrial. You will work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing all phases of site development projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
- Coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams.
- Review and maintain project documentation, including contracts, plans, permits, and reports.
- Help track project progress and resolve any issues or delays.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
- Participate in site visits to monitor work and ensure quality control.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in construction project management or related field, preferably with experience in commercial, residential, and/or industrial site development.
- Knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
