Nino Development has partnered with a highly regarded Structural Steel Fabricator in Arizona on their search for an Assistant Project Manager who has experience managing the work flow of Structural Steel Fabrication projects.
The ideal candidate possess a willingness to grow within their role, specifically into a Project Management position.
Job Title: Assistant Project Manager (Structural Steel Fabrication - AISC)
Project Types: Commercial, Data Centers, Healthcare, Office Buildings, Stadiums, Railroad, Water Treatment Plants, Power Plants, Bridge
Key Responsibilities:
- Participates in project safety programs, observations, and audits
- Assists Project Managers with project related tasks
- Assists in identifying and promoting changes to improve productivity and quality on the project
- Effectively communicates with Project Owner/Designer/Architect/Engineering regarding project schedule, issues and activities occurring on the project
- Develops RFI’s , work plans and submittals for the project
- Tracks and reports quantities of work performed and understands associated costs of such
- Develops time and material final pricing submittals
- Assists with CPM schedule development and maintenance
- Maintains as-built drawings with assistance from field staff
- Performs project specific tasks assigned by higher level manager
- Understands and communicates contract scope to field staff
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2 years of being in a Project Engineer OR Assistant Project Manager position managing the workflow of Structural Steel Fabrication projects
- Tekla Software preferred
- Structural Steel Fabrication experience
- Proficient with MS Office Products, Blue Beam, TEKLA EPM, Tekla
