We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Roofing Foreman to join our team and take charge of managing roofing crews on site.
Position Overview:
The Commercial Roofing Foreman will lead a team of roofers to perform all commercial roofing tasks including installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems. You will be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the crew, ensuring quality work, and maintaining a safe work environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid roofing experience and leadership skills to take on a key role in a growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of roofing professionals on commercial roofing projects.
- Ensure the proper installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems.
- Maintain and enforce strict safety standards and protocols on all job sites.
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and labor to ensure timely project completion.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and other key personnel to ensure project requirements are met.
- Inspect and assess the work completed by the crew for quality and consistency.
- Provide training and guidance to crew members to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Monitor daily crew performance, track progress, and report any issues or delays.
- Ensure the job site is clean, organized, and adheres to all safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Roofing Foreman or similar role in commercial roofing.
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of roofing professionals.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, roofing plans, and specifications.
- OSHA certification and other relevant safety training are a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Must have reliable transportation and be available to work in Atlanta, GA
