Description Of Duties
This contract position has a base pay range of $16.28 - $30 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Description Of Duties
- Follows test case instructions and performs “free testing” to test products
- Basic understanding of Software Testing methodologies and practices
- Provides work estimates and delivers medium to large tasks
- Works under general supervision. Exercises some independent judgment to determine approach to solutions
- Implements established key performance and quality indicators
- Implements established testing workflow and systems and provides feedback
- Records defects in JIRA, attaches defect numbers to failed test cases, and follows up on resolved issues
- Assists as necessary with updating existing test cases
- Contributes to completion of milestones
- Owns results and decisions on behalf of a deliverable
- Acts as a resource to newer employees
- Intermediate PC Skills (Word, Excel, and Visual Studio)
- Two to four years of experience in software testing
- Worked on one or more game testing projects
- High School Diploma or equivalent
