Summary Of Responsibilities
As a Residential Interior Designer at Bethesda Contracting, you will lead high-end residential design projects from concept to construction, guiding clients through selections, layouts, and budgeting. You’ll collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and the construction team to ensure seamless execution while managing project timelines and material procurement. Additionally, you'll contribute to marketing efforts by documenting completed projects and maintaining strong industry relationships.
Essential Functions
Lead design projects from concept to construction documentation, including floor plans, selections, budgets, and vision boards.
Meet with clients to understand their vision, present design proposals, and guide them through the selection process.
Collaborate with the internal team, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution and timely procurement.
Utilize Chief Architect or 2020 for drafting, creating 3D models, and preparing construction documents.
Conduct site visits, coordinate subcontractor walkthroughs, and review budget check-ins with estimators and project managers.
Stay updated on design trends, maintain material libraries, and manage vendor relationships for quality selections.
Support marketing efforts by contributing to social media, project photography, and showcasing completed work.
Education, Experience, And Skills Required
5 years in residential interior design, project coordination, or architecture.
Experience in designing kitchen and bathroom cabinetry for residential projects.
Proficiency in 2020 and Chief Architect.
A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design is a plus;
Certified Kitchen & Bathroom Designer (CKBD) is a bonus.
Compensation
Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 annually
Technology: Computer, laptop, and second screen provided
401k plan
