What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT BUSINESS ANALYST position at NLB Corp?
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Optimize configurations for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations (F&O) and Supply Chain Management modules, including Sales & Marketing, Purchasing, Engineering, Warehouse Management, Production Control, Inventory Management, and Product Information Management.
- Troubleshoot user issues related to Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Engineering Change Orders, Production Orders, and Work Orders.
- Draft functional specification documents for requested software modifications, assist with design and testing, and ensure approvals are documented throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Work with outside development partner to answer design questions on requested changes and assist with internal testing
- Participate in backlog prioritization with business owners to communicate what is most impactful to the business
- Document, test, and integrate software solutions, including Dooap (AP), Vertex (sales tax), Experlogix CPQ (product configurator), Versapay (customer payment automation), and Pacejet (shipping).
- Utilize BI tools (Excel, Power Query, Power BI, SSRS reports, Azure Synapse, and Reporting Manager) to enhance data visibility for end users.
- Identify, test, and implement new D365 features to optimize business processes.
- Facilitate automated scenario testing (RSAT), maintain proper documentation of test results, and verify changes during platform upgrades.
- Manage ERP system user base and ensure proper licensing coverage.
- Create training materials and Standard Operating Procedures for stakeholders.
- Configure devices, including printers and mobile devices, for ERP system use in warehouse operations.
- Respond to and resolve D365-related issues using a helpdesk system.
- Collaborate with team members to develop creative solutions to meet internal customer needs.
- Promote and embrace change across departments to drive organizational improvement.
- Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement systems, policies, and procedures that enhance organizational value and efficiency.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
