Job Summary:

The HR Generalist will play a key role in assisting in various HR functions, including payroll processing using ADP, HRIS system maintenance, unemployment management, onboarding support, benefits enrollment, and general HR support. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Payroll Processing:
  • Accurately process bi-weekly payroll using ADP.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.
• Benefits Enrollment:
  • Assist employees with benefits-related questions and issues.
  • Assist with new hire benefits enrollment and open enrollment processes.
• Maintenance for HRIS Systems:
  • Maintain and update HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide support to employees on HRIS functionalities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Onboarding Support:
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including creating job postings and job descriptions.
  • Provide administrative support new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
• General HR Support:
  • Provide general HR support to employees and management.
  • Assist with verification of employment, unemployment and general personnel questions.
  • Assist with various HR projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in HR, with a focus on payroll processing using ADP preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
