Purpose
The IT Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, implementing new technologies, managing IT projects, and providing technical support to employees. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of IT systems, and the ability to align technology solutions with business goals. This role is vital in supporting our manufacturing processes and enhancing operational efficiency across all facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure Management
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and security of hardware, software, and networks.
- Monitor system performance and implement upgrades as necessary.
IT Employee Training
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance knowledge of IT with employees.
Technical Support
- Provide troubleshooting assistance and support to end users for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Implement best practices for IT service management (ITSM) to improve efficiency.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection
- Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery processes are in place and compliant with industry standards.
- Develop cybersecurity awareness programs for employees to prevent security breaches.
Project Management
- Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and software implementations.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Vendor & Budget Management
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, negotiate contracts, and control IT budgets.
Compliance & Policy Development
- Establish and enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain system integrity and security.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Business Alignment
- Collaborate with other departments to understand business needs and implement IT solutions that support organizational goals.
Qualifications/Requirements
· Proven experience as an IT Manager, IT Administrator, or in a similar role.
· Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, security, and cloud computing.
· Experience in IT employee training and development programs.
· Leadership and project management skills.
· Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
