What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Administrative Assistant position at Nodaway Valley Community School District?
Nodaway Valley CSD is hiring a principal secretary for the elementary office in Greenfield. This is a 10-month position with benefits.
Basic Functions:
Supervises, manages and coordinates the smooth and efficient operation of the building office to achieve a maximum positive impact on the student's educational program.
Qualifications:
- A reasonable degree of proficiency in typing and computer skills.
- Working knowledge of common office equipment including minor maintenance.
- Receive and route all incoming calls.
- Ability to interact with students, staff, and the public in a friendly, personable manner.
- Ability to work appropriately with confidential information and to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Maintain a daily teacher attendance log and records for substitute teachers.
- Ability to lift thirty pounds.
- Promote a positive school climate at school and in the general public.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Other related duties as assigned by the building principal.
