Responsibilities:
- Contact business clients regarding past due invoices via phone and email
- Create accounts receivable reports
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and correct errors
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
- Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable
- Research payments and applications
- Perform accounts payable and cash application functions as needed
Experience:
- Proficiency with MS Office and above-average Excel experience, required
- 2 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience preferred
- Understanding of basic accounting principles, accounts payable, and cash applications preferred
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in customer service roles is beneficial
- Understanding of financial concepts related to accounts receivable
