Roessel Joy is partnering with a Non-Profit that is looking at add a Grants Accountant to their team! The ideal candidate has 3 years of Non-Profit experience, grants accounting experience and is proficient in Sage Intacct!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of transactions.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation to verify the accuracy of account balances.
- Conduct accrual accounting to ensure that revenues and expenses are recorded in the correct periods.
- Assist in tax preparation and compliance, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.
- Participate in financial auditing processes to ensure the integrity of financial statements.
- Review monthly financial statements.
- Provide comprehensive financial analysis to support business operations and strategic planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8 years of Accounting experience.
- Non-Profit experience is a must.
- Familiarity with financial auditing processes is desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
