Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology. The Sonographer will work closely with physicians to provide high-quality images that assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Duties
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately assess and document findings during imaging procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and provide comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to safety protocols during all imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans.
- Stay updated on advancements in sonography technology and techniques to enhance diagnostic capabilities.
- Ensure proper maintenance of ultrasound equipment and report any malfunctions or issues promptly.
Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology related to sonography and diagnostic radiology.
- Knowledgeable in Ob/Gyn practices and procedures is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Expertise in sonography techniques, including the ability to operate ultrasound equipment efficiently.
- Solid understanding of anatomy knowledge necessary for accurate imaging assessments.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the imaging process.

Pay: $62.00 - $65.00 per hour
