CV Technologist Role
The CV Technologist is responsible for preparing and managing equipment during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment. This position requires assessing patient conditions, serving as a preceptor for new staff, and contributing to the hospital's innovative healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Preparation: Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure optimal performance.
- Patient Assessment: Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care according to established protocols.
- Sterile Environment: Establish and maintain a sterile environment to minimize the risk of infection and ensure patient safety.
Additional responsibilities include serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff, and using downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
Requirements
- Education: Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
- Experience: Previous procedural area experience is preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration, Registered and/or RCIS certification, Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.

- Salary Range: $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
